Biography

From the hills of Eastern Oregon and being exposed to Country Western music impacted me as a child. The sounds the stories called to me. I began honing in on my songwriting craft about six years ago and have been fortunate to have some of my songs placed on hold and hopefully recorded by some well known Bluegrass artists. I received a great honor and opportunity to record my resonator guitar playing on one of Miss Dixie & Tom.T Hall's original songs,recorded by Frank D. Ray and Cedar Hill back in 2015. I feel so humbled.

I came out with my first album(Death,Depression and Despair) in 2013. All original songs and all sounds made by me. Mostly three track arrangements ,by singing with my flattop,adding resonator guitar and upright bass.

I've always been fascinated by musicians and songwriters. Writing songs with substance and arranging melodies to fit them is hard work,but very rewarding for ones soul. Living in a remote part of the country(U.S.A.) allows me the solitude to write. Being approached by someone after performing an original song and knowing it made a difference is humbling and satisfying. Music is life and setting life to music feels almost magical.
