Biography
“CCAU ~ Cris Cuddy Acoustic Unit” came about after the release of Cris’ "Diamond Shine" CD in 2010.
Cris Cuddy is a veteran Canadian songwriter whose career spans decades in bands like Max Mouse and The Gorillas and Jeremy Dormouse. As a solo artist, Cris has been producing original albums for over 20 years.
Cris' songs are from the heart; leaning on all genres his lyrics define the songs as the music creates the mood. Cris' songs have been covered by many artists including the great Canadian country band Prairie Oyster, the Spinney Brothers and lately Jim Hurst.
Performing with Cris are Pierre Bordeleau on lead acoustic and vocals and Andrew Heathcote on String Bass and vocals. Both Pierre and Andrew are seasoned musicians performing regularly for the last 20+ years in and around Ontario and the rest of Canada.
The trio delivers an exclusive “hybrid acoustic roots” sound and the strong vocal harmonies are coupled with the love of the music at every performance.
