Biography
I was born and raised in Cincinnati,Ohio.I came up listening to all types of music.Anything from Public Enemy to Too Short to Guns & Roses. As long as it sounded good liked it.I started rapping at the age of eleven.Me and my cousin Woodgrain would just be doing as a hobby.Something to help make the day go by.It wasn't until I was fifthteen years old that my homeboy Nell put us in a studio. It wasn't no top of the line shit but it was enough to get our shit recorded. At that time we would just play our song for the niggas on the block.Take it school and let the kids hear it.The hood loved us!We used to freestyle on the block,I used to battle cats in school and rap on the back of the bus.I did for the attention, I didn't care about the business...yet.I ended up joining the Navy right after high school.I finally got tired of hustling and dealing with bullshit so a nigga had to make a change.I lived down south in Jacksonville, Florida for four years and it was there that I finally took rap serious.I was able to see the local artist do they thang and how they grinded it out.It was from that point on that a nigga was ready to go all in.Once out of the military, me and my little brother started our own record label.I dropped my first mixtape in March of 2007 called "The Young, Fly & Gettin' Money Mixtape Vol.1" which was hosted by DJ Skinny Fresh. While it didn't sell much, I was able to get a 1,000+ copies into the hands of people that never heard of me and make them fans. Not one person has ever told me that cd was wack.NOT ONE.But I also learned a valuble lesson...NEVER MAKE A WHOLE MIXTAPE RAPPING OVER INDUSTRY BEATS!!!Because niggas not really gonna pay attention to what you saying! So as I write this to you, I am currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on my second mixtape "The Young, Fly & Gettin' Money Mixtape Vol.2," this one will be hosted by The Core DJ's own DJ Dimepiece. This project a gang of original tracks like "We Get It In," "Keep It Hood," & "Real Talk".It will have some freestyles on there too. This is my letter to the industry, just letting them know that i'm coming.YA' DIGG?!?!
