brenton wood,born alfred smith shreveport louisiana he moved west to san pedro california later moved to compton california he attended compton high school and one semester at compton jr. college brenton wood aka alfred smith studed piano at age of 7 and practice his key board every day sense age 7 then he wanted to sing so he learned how to wright songs.some of his hit songs are classic,songs like gimmie little sign and the oogum boogum song baby you got it and me and you.brenton has released a new cd classic by design and it sounds like brenton still has that touch the title song has a great melodic catch to a story that every man must have about their lady/your the girl in my dream will set the mood for a candle lite dinner with the one you love. great work brenton wood
