Biography

Air Zepo was founded in 2012 by lead singer/guitarist/producer Nick Byer (born July 24th 1979) whose musical style incorporates elements of grunge, pop, and southern rock.
Byer grew up in the Bahamas and moved to the US at age 13 to pursue a career in professional tennis. He attended Saddlebrook Highschool where Andy Roddick was his classmate.
After playing on the professional circuit, he decided to dedicate his life to music. "Air Zepo has been a life long dream of mine, it is an actualization of my past present and future."
He has been playing in California Florida and New York and released his debut hit single "she's not like you" on 7/15/12. and is currently on jangoairplay.com, www.PureindieRock.com, and, ocrockradio.com.
Byer, who produced the song hired Stu Mahan of Earl Greyhound on bass, Ricc Sheridan of Open Oppurtinty on drums, and Liza Paige of the Rising Sun on piano to serve as session musicians.
Air Zepo's sound is part raw, part melody and she's not like you has been compared to Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots, and Pink Floyd.
Air Zepo is currently doing production on their next song "breaking in the moon" which has a Billy idol "white wedding" feel and will be promoting "she's not like you" on the east coast and California and Europe.
