Biography

Tongue of Fire aka Kevin C: Son of Mr. Rodney Caldwell and the late Sharon Bartlett and in Trenton New Jersey: Grew up in a normal life with a normal family. Kevin Began to perfect his craft at the young age of 6. Kevin Grew to be a talented musician. Playing 4 separate instruments at the age of 12.All was well and good until the age of 13. Kevin decided to live a life of crime that would ultimately lead to his salvation. Taking on the mantle of Anger fused with a need to be in the In Crowd, Kevin joined a gang and began to sell drugs. Doing a good job of hiding his wrong, by scoring near perfect marks in his High School years, kept his family from suspecting anything suspicious. Thus leading him Further and further down a spiral with no way back to the top.

On August 13th 1997: Kevin Gave his life to Christ. Now understanding who he is in Christ and trading that mantle of Anger for the mantle of Righteousness. Kevin Had a deep urgency to see others in his situation come to know Christ as well. Coming to realize that his musical talent was a God given talent, he opted not to waist this talent and use it to spread the Gospel. After performing at many different venues and becoming a Minister of Music at his local church now in Atlanta GA, Kevin started Studio7 Records and decided to Rap for Christ Himself.

The Name Tongue of Fire is derived from the Book of Acts:2. The Bible says that the Holy spirit appeared to the disciples in the form of Cloven Tongues as of Fire So the name simply is a representation of the Holy Spirit! The vision could be summed up into a few words: Bring gospel back to the Gospel. Why? You ask. The Gospel is about the Birth, Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the world today, the church has seemingly lost that definition. The aim is strictly to see souls saved by the power of the Holy Spirit, and to see them covered by the blood of Jesus Christ!!!
