Biography

From America’s Dairyland to Music City, Tennessee, Todd James is quickly adjusting to the change of pace. Born in a small town in Northern Wisconsin, it wasn’t until he was 9 months old that Todd would find a family and a place he would call home. That home -and the Mom and Dad that found him - was in Wisconsin’s Northwood’s just outside of Wausau. There Todd grew up like any other kid, playing baseball, racing motocross and of course going to school, but it wasn’t until after High School and a tragic event that motivated Todd to pursue music further.

Though he always loved music, it wasn't until Todd’s father passed away that he got the inspiration to write music and take his dreams further. Todd James starting singing for a band in Wisconsin with a couple of close friends. They played out from time to time and created a few originals. With every song they wrote getting better, Todd decided it was time to try his skills on the big stage. Nashville Tennessee became the bigger stage and Todd has since grown as a person and a musician taking every moment in and learning from the big city life. The road has thrown Todd many curves in life but his strong northern values and “never give up” attitude is bringing him to be well known sooner than later in the Nashville Music scene.
