These three guys have the sound, the delivery and the charisma that is needed in their genre, Outlaw Country. The Big Bull Bands new album, Our Own Way, have it all and they tell it like it is. Just like country music should be.
Out from the hidden woods in Ulefoss, Norway, The Big Bull Band have released their second album, a follow up to the critically acclaimed - A tribute to Waylon Jennings-. This time with their own written songs, in the style that has made them the live attraction they are today 'round in Norway.
Shooter Jennings, son of the late legend Waylon Jennings, said after receiving their debut album, A tribute to Waylon Jennings; - I play The Big Bull Band every week on my show, it´s another way of me getting away with playing more of my dads tunes.
The story started in 1986 where three friends started the band Country Canal. The bands name was later changed to The Big Bull Band.
Today, vocalist Hans Olaf Kastodden is the only original member left in the band.
During all these years, The Big Bull Band has been performing at all kind of various stages in Norway. They have also been at all of the major C&W festivals as well.
By touring all over Norway, they are now well known performers of the Outlaw Country-genre, introduced in the 1970’s by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.
In the spring of 2008 The Big Bull Band released their second album. This time, with mostly original music, composed by the bandmembers. In February 2008 they produced the video Our Own Way which is the title track of the CD. The video is also a part of CD.
