Renowned Nashville-based singer/songwriter Steve Thomas & The Time Machine are excited to announce the release of their brand new single, "Get Love," available now via Bonfire Music Group. This marks Thomas's first single release in two and a half years.

Reflecting on the new single, Steve Thomas shares, “‘Get Love’ is a positive anthem that deals with the emptiness of material pursuits and the happiness we can all find in pursuing the eternal blessings of love. This track is lively and joyful, blending elements of driving Bluegrass with a little sprinkling of pop-jazz flavor.”

"Get Love" is a tune that radiates an inspiring message about the power of love to overcome any challenge. Co-written by Steve Thomas and Jody Harris, the song features Steve's signature lead vocals and embodies the rich blend of traditional bluegrass, country, and blues that fans have come to expect from the group. Instrumentally, Steve also plays mandolin and acoustic guitar, accompanied by Josh Matheny on Dobro, Chris Wade on banjo, and Jason Owen providing harmony vocals. This single follows their 2021 hit, "Play Me The Blues Mississippi."

Steve Thomas began his professional career in 1982, playing fiddle for Del McCoury. Over the past three decades, he has collaborated with a veritable "who's who" of Nashville's music greats, including The Osborne Brothers, Jim and Jesse, The Whites, Aaron Tippin, Barbara Mandrell, Kenny Chesney, Brooks and Dunn, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Lee Ann Womack, and Lorrie Morgan. His talent has earned him multiple accolades, including nominations for Vocal and Instrumental Group of the Year by the Country Music Association and a Grammy nomination. He has charted multiple hits on the Bluegrass charts, including the No. 1 single "Old McDonald Sold The Farm." His previous album, All Of These Years, also produced several Top Ten hits on the Bluegrass Today charts.
