Biography
Lucian & the All Stars was formed in 1997 as the "All Star Swing Show". in 2000 the name changed to "Lucian and the All Stars" and quickly became a Tampa Bay area favorite. The group prides itself in doing music from 6 decades including Jazz, Swing, Blues, Rock, Country, Latin and Love Songs. The group was featured in May of 2006 on the top rated VH1 Television show "Hogan Knows Best", playing a Tango for Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda on their 22nd anniversary.
Street Love Jazz is a 12 tune original project and has 10 instrumentals and 2 vocals. The instrumentals range in genre's from East Coast Jazz, West Coast Jazz, Bluesy/Jazz, Latin Jazz nad even boasts a Jazz Dirge (Jalafeeboo), and a Jazz Waltz.

PERSONNEL

Lucian Ierna was the drummer and leader of the group. This 86 year old musician had been playing Drums, writing songs and arranging music for 70 years. He died April 2, 2009. In 2000, "Warm & Fuzzy Feeling" a cut from his "Let's Go Shopping At The Mall" CD charted to #13 on the New Music Weekly Adult Contemporary charts, and the cut "Let's Go Shopping At The Mall" charted to #9 on the same chart. In 2005. The album was #1 on the Party Pop Chart for www.MP3TUNES.com.

Joe Ierna, Co-Producer who is 73, has been playing Tenor, Alto and Soprano Sax,Coronet,Flute and Flugel Horn for 60 years. He has played virtually every style of music and wrote 8 of the songs on this CD. He is an accomplished artist and also was known as "The Piano Man" after the Piano business he owned for 3 decades.

Glenn Stevenson holds down the bottom on Double Bass, and also Electric Bass on some tunes. He wrote the track "Element of Truth" for this CD. Glenn's original artwork is featured on the front and back covers and also on the disc art. His other passion besides music is restoring Volkswagens.

Dean Fernald is brilliant on keyboards. He is a master of many styles of music. He wrote "Either Or" for the CD. Dean also is known for his vocals and especially his impersonations of Johnny Cash and Fats Domino.

Randall Ierna, Co-Producer and Music Publisher is featured on "Street Love" on the Drums and also on Latin Percussion on several cuts. Randall has been playing drums for 40 years and has been producing music since 1976. He had Six #1 albums in 2005 on www.MP3TUNES.com including: "Let's Go Shopping At The Mall" by Lucian and "Blues Meltdown", "Genuine Bluesman", "The Movie" and "Chameleon" all by Molten Mike. Those albums, along with "Street Love Jazz" can be ordered through www.CDBABY.com, whether a hard copy or digitally.

Susan Jones Williams sings the title song "Street Love" and also a light Latin Jazz song "Looking Glass Genie" on the CD. Susan has been a professional Singer for over 20 years and is also a Television Personality in many infomercials as well as a host on Channels such as QVC and Home Shopping Network. She is also accomplished at Voice Overs and is featured on many advertisements for Radio and TV.

Glenn Laubaugh, veteran engineer, recorded "Street Love Jazz" live at his ESP studio in Florida and no sampled tracks were used. All the playing is real and the stereo sound separation brings the songs to the listener as if they are on stage with the group. Glenn also mixed the music along with Randall and Joe and mastered the final mix.
