L Mo
Biography
1.Luke Moseley was born in Leeds in 1984. His father is Australian and his mother American. They moved between Perth, Australia and Arizona, America before settling back in England. Confused? Luke was.........

2.Luke was lucky enough to spend his early years in varying corners of the world, influencing his sound forever and allowing him to lay down roots in many different continents. Next stop... Leeds, his current base in the North of England where he's been busy establishing himself as an up-and-coming local act, whilst also spreading his wings and his sound by performing as far away as France, America, and Australia. In addition to live gigs, LMo has received airplay from online radio stations Hip Hop Basement, Acoustic Radio and Jam Radio.
At the moment he's in the studio recording new material, with the view to releasing not just a conventional album, but instead two separate EP's mirroring the music industry's constant hunger for new material.

3. Music is LMo's life- If he's not making it, he's listening to it, if he's not listening to it, he's thinking about it- usually while longboarding around with a smile on his face. He's what you would call a do-er rather than a talker, a listener rather than a chatter, an optimist not a pessimist. Born from the inspiration of the mountains viewed from a snowboard, streets from a longboard and the world that he has been brought up in, his music reflects his ongoing desire for people to look at the world in a different way, and question the things they would never thought of questioning.

4. His heartfelt acoustic music is a rootsy, funky, melodic rythmn fest with a touch of beatboxing groove. Songs such as 'Simple Living', 'Too Bad', and 'Do things right' reflect his personal philosopies, while 'Surf Lagoona' and 'Made in Heaven' take you to some of the places of his experience and imagination. Soaking in his own positivity, the audience gets out what L Mo puts in. And boy is that alot. His experimental use of of instruments including the slide guitar, banjo, didgeridoo, ukeleli and his own voice through beat boxing give a depth and originality to his sound, not yet heard elsewhere.

5. Luke is renowned for his interactive and energetic performances, and has to be seen live to be fully appreciated. They say the facial expression created by turning the corners of the mouth upward is commonly known as a smile. It can convey a wide range of emotion, from approval, to amusement to simple happiness. Its the common ailment of L-mo's audience, along with the desire to shake a leg at his exhilarating originality.

6.Spreading energising vibrations through string strumming sing songing pandemonium. That'll be L-mo then.
