Biography
Johnson City, TN - King Springs Road is a bluegrass band based out of East Tennessee. While staying true to the roots of bluegrass, King Springs Road pushes the limits and explores the boundaries of acoustic music. They pull their inspiration from music ranging from Flatt & Scruggs and Bill Monroe to Strength in Numbers and Psychograss. The band members come from all across the United States, with the exception of one member who is from The Netherlands. Everybody moved to East Tennessee to study in the Bluegrass, Old Time & Country Music program at East Tennessee State University. Through association at regular jams in Johnson City, it was obvious that these six musicians could come together to create something great; King Springs Road is the result of that.
