Biography
The rapper/producer, K.1, was born Kristopher LaRock on Dec. 30th, 1982 in St. Paul, Minnesota. The following year his mother relocated them to Central New York. K.1 (K. LaRock) started writing rap lyrics at age 12 and recording mixtapes at 18 under his label F.U. Enta'tainment. In 2005, he released his debut album, Tha Calm Before Tha Storm, under the Virginia based independent label 9th Dynasty Records, where he currently works with the consious-level rapper, Knowa.
