I have worked with Heidi Newfield formally of Trick Pony, and Louisa Branscomb "Steel Rails" a Blue Grass Grand Old Opry Winner just to name a few.
I am a US ARMY IRAQ WAR Vet who served 12 years active duty and did a year tour in Iraq from 2005-2006. While there I fell almost 15 feet off a crane and suffered a TBI.
In 2017 ten years after being out, I pursued my passion and calling of writing and singing music that I had from my teenage years. It has not only become the biggest part of my PTSD mental healing aspect, but now after three attempts at suicide, I have purpose and hope in life.
FREE my lead track is the song that after 12 years of being out of the Army I wrote that brought me back. Now I sing/Song write and speak on Suicide and PTSD. Giving back to my community on so many levels something that I experienced has been the blessing and platform I have been able to springboard from and show our world that they are not alone and there is hope and joy in life when we pursue and chase it. Putting the hard work into it pays more dividends than I can count.
My motto is "Showing Others Purpose & Making A Difference 1 Note at a Time"!
The arrangement of FREE my lead track was done by Andy Rudy who has worked with Eddie Money, Benny Madrones, and countless other amazing artists. Ron Keck is the owner and lead engineer at Subcat Records Studios in Syracuse NY. I was the executive engineer on this project as well as helping mix it.
My buddy Tom Colliar from "Held Hostage" band has played and intricate roll in my musical development, being a mentor and friend, all while watching his album go 18 weeks on the Billboard charts last year and playing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Jan 2023 opening for Twisted Sister, Journey Dee Snider, and more.
I have opened for him many times including when guest artist Tim Ripper Owens formally of Judas Priest who did the vocals on Held Hostages last two albums. They were nominated for 13 and 8 Grammy's the past two years.
I am just a Country Boy who is having a blessed time living out my dreams, all while helping others in life know they have help.
I believe life is about seizing opportunities in life, and taking tragedy and turning it into triumphs, because it is not a question of will we encounter struggle. It is when struggle comes our way, how will we go through those moments and will we decide to not let them overcome and define us because of our past, but will we take them and allow our past to path a brighter future for us and those around us despite the circumstances.
My single Angel of Love I wrote to propose to my then girlfriend on stage with my former US Military Service Dog Ciara Heart of a Service Dog. She saved my life and was one hour from being Euthanized, before Patricia Ann Eaves a blue grass artist saved her and trained her. She then gave her to me.
