Biography
Since the Big Bang of Country music in 1927, the heart of roots music has been the singer/songwriter; those individuals who can observe life, as it is being lived, and put it into a poetic form, set to music. AOK Records artist, Elton Mishoe, is a standard bearer for the current slate of singer/songwriters, changing lives with songs about everyday occurrences and the beauties and heartaches of love.
Elton, who hails from Lexington, SC is making a name for himself among Country music royalty, performing with names like Haggard and Campbell. He is just as content performing for a congregation of friends and fans in his hometown. He is often heard saying, "I write and sing what I know. I can't be nobody but me." His brand of genuine artistry endears his fan base. AOK Records President Adam Knight states, "If you listen to Elton, you are hearing songs about his wife, his kids, his hometown, his God, and his musical influences. No artist I know lets their audience in on their personal life in the way that he does."
Elton has shared the stage with many Country music stars and legends, has appeared at the Grand Ole Opry complex in Nashville, and has even performed with Duck Dynasty's Uncle Si. He is a philanthropist, who has used his music to support many great causes. He is an anchor artist of the Farm Bash concert series, which features artists such as Jamey Johnson, Colt Ford, and Sammy Kershaw.
"#DangILoveThatWoman" is Elton's latest release on AOK Records, and features the radio singles Rockin' Chair and Bar Exam. His music is available on iTunes, Pandora, iHeart, Amazon, and most digital distributors.
