His voice stems from a love of music deep inside of him. To truly find out the origin of this passion you must first look back at his roots. He was born in Atlanta Ga to very humble beginnings. Through his childhood struggles, his faith and love of music became the outlet he needed. The first memory he has of singing was at the age of _ when he sang “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston on the kitchen table; using a chicken bone as the microphone. Dontarius became a leader at a young age which ultimately lead him to start a gospel choir at Stevenson high school entitled “Inspirational Voices” which still exists today. He has worked for various artists such as, former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland. As well as, renowned gospel artists; William Murphy, Valerie Boyd, and Angelina Christie. Dontarius is known by the people that love him as authentic, humorous, extremely talented, and anointed. He is one of the few that has it all: vocalist, musician, writer, teacher, and motivator. Currently, Donatritus is recording his solo album and contracting out to a variety of venues and functions such as, universities, churches, and, private gigs alike. Dontarius will challenge us with songs of love, pain, real life issues, and inspiration. That will captivate listeners, compel us to shape are own lives and pursue our dreams.
