Biography

Desi is quickly establishing herself as a country music singer and songwriter. She is presently completing her debut CD in Nashville for release in late spring of 2008. Her next single to be released will be “Country Girls Rock This World”. Desi and her band have performed at various events in the Four State Area such as: The Fourth of July Celebration at Landreth Park in Joplin, MO, Boots, Bands, and BBQ Concert at the Maple Leaf Festival in Carthage, MO, Big Spring Summer Social in Neosho, MO, as well as many other community events, fairs, and festivals.



Desi has a diverse background in music. At age 12, she performed the National Anthem for the 2002 National YMCA Gymnastics Meet in Savannah, Georgia. Since that time, she has honored her country singing her rendition of the National Anthem at many sporting and community events such as: the NAIA Basketball Games, MIAA Basketball Games, and Springfield Cardinal Baseball Games.



Desi has been a selected performer at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana for the past two years. She also was selected to sing the National Anthem at the State FFA Convention in Columbia, Missouri and for the Annual MFA State Convention in Columbia, MO.



In addition to the above, Desi has been recognized for outstanding musicianship by receiving “I” ratings at the State Level for her Individual Vocal Performances of Classical Music. She also received recognition for being an Outstanding Jazz Vocalist. Desi’s passion for many different genres of music creates a unique sound for your listening pleasure.
