Delmark Records 70th Anniversary Jazz Anthology (Vol.1)

Delmark Records is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a series of anthologies. This is the first volume, dedicated to explore Delmark's incredibly deep jazz catalogue. This selection is about bop and what is called "modern jazz", presenting very prestigious artists, all of them part of the best jazz history.
The tunes for this selection are Delmark original recordings as well as tracks coming for subsidiary labels as Sackville, Jump and Apollo.
This selection has been put together by the Artistic Director of the label, Elbio Barilari.
