Biography
Brian Mckeever started playing guitar in 1981 at 11 years old. His dad had an acoustic guitar and Brian became interested then. Early influences included: Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhodes, Jimmy Page , and David Gilmore. Started taking lessons in 1983. Learned rock, jazz, and classical. Took lessons till 1994. Started playing professionally in bands at 16 years old, main bar circuits for cover bands. Started playing guitar in studio sessions in New York and later in Los Angeles , played on independent artist records with other sessions musicians from Steve Vai and Chicago . Brian spent the last 10 years of his life studying all different styles of music to broaden his spectrum, including styles like : 20s era, 30s era, Bebop, Country, Celtic, and others.
Brian has performed with members of : Jimi Hendrix, Chicago, Steve Vai, American Idol, Ritchie Blackmore, Psychadelic Furs, Men At Work, Pete Best (1st Drummer for Beatles), Edwin McCain, Enrique Eglesias, Queen, Trisamberian Orchestra.
