Biography
Born and raised in Roseburg Oregon, BobbiLynn's first interest in music and singing began when she was 8 years old. She dressed up in 'vintage' clothing she had found in the garage attic and she would wail away to all of the neighborhood cats. Unfortunately, they wouldn't stick around too long. BobbiLynn's mother, Ruth, was an avid music fan so the house would ring with the country sounds of Loretta Lynn, Buck Owens, Elvis Presley and many others. Loretta Lynn inspired BobbiLynn as a young child, as well as an adult today. BobbiLynn was invited to perform at Loretta Lynn's in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, absolutely a dream come true! Aside from the many new friends and fans she gained, BobbiLynn was so well received she will perform there more frequently! BobbiLynn shares the stage with name entertainers such as The Tennessee Three (Johnny Cash Band &W.S. Holland), Bill Haley & The Comets (Joey Welz), Carl Mann (Mona Lisa), Narvel Felts (Lonely Teardrops), Linda Gail Lewis, The 10-O-C Band, Stan Perkins, Sandy Hardin, Dale Scharre, Wanda Jackson, Bobby Joe Swilley, Ace Cannon, Kristian Crowe, Sonny Burgess & The Pacers, High Jacks, T-Bone & The Sonics, Shelby Singleton (owner of Sun Records) to name a few.

BobbiLynn is a creative writer of music and lyrics. Her debut CD, 'BobbiLynn Halfway Home', shows her originality and independent abilities. She also co-wrote several songs on her CD, sharing creativity in lyric writing, musical composition, arrangement and production. Halfway Home was released under the Midland Record label in Nashville, Tennessee. Halfway Home was produced by Bobby G Rice and co-produced by BobbiLynn. BobbiLynn is participating in television (CBS & ABC affiliate), radio and newspaper interviews promoting her CD. BobbiLynn also signed a recording contract with Canadian/American Records (Caprice) September 2007. They are representing Cant Go Back, written by BobbiLynn.

As a teen BobbiLynn dabbled in comedy, acting and writing. As a young adult she wrote several theatrical plays and a novel. As an adult, BobbiLynn tried her hand at acting and television commercials. She also wrote ad copy for, produced and performed in radio commercials. BobbiLynn has been featured in state and national magazines for her talent, including the 'Entertainer. She has countless newspaper articles regarding her performances, thus tracking her career. BobbiLynn performs solo as well as with bands. BobbiLynn performed and worked with Motown veteran Mike Valvano. She participated in the Jimmie Dean True Value Showcase and The Spirit Of Country Opera Showcase. BobbiLynn performs throughout the United States. Experience includes concerts, television, radio, benefits, fairs, rodeos, festivals, resorts, company parties, weddings, theaters, and lounges.

Currently residing in Oregon, BobbiLynn produced, hosted and performed on 'Spotlight', an Oregon cable television variety program. BobbiLynn created Spotlight (501c3 nonprofit organization). Very well known entertainers appeared on the program along with some not so very well known' artists. That was the idea behind the program, to give everyone an opportunity to experience television and display their talents. The program also served as an outreach to those who were less fortunate in the surrounding communities. Spotlight provided assistance for persons with medical needs, homeless citizens and citizens with special needs by gaining public awareness through media and entertainment. BobbiLynn has received public acknowledgements, certificates and awards for her dedication and generosity assisting those who are less fortunate. She enjoys being an active advocate.

Jim~Moose~Brown - piano, keyboard, session leaderJim Brown recently played with Brad Paisley at the CMA awards. Jim performs with Darryl Worley, Phil Vassar, Bill Anderson and many other artists. He also plays on the ,Grand Old Opry'. Jim co-wrote the (Alan Jackson) hit song' It's Five O'clock Somewhere'.

Mike Baker - lead guitarMike has played lead guitar for 35 years. He has performed for artists Jim Ed Brown, Joe Stampley, Billy Walker, Vern Gosdin, David Allen Coe and many others. He has also performed on the 'Grand Old Opry'.

Jim Vest - steel guitarJim began playing steel guitar in Louisville, Kentucky when he was 9 years old. Beginning in 1961 he played for 'Pee Wee King and the Golden West Cowboys' (Gene Autry). When Jim moved to Nashville in 1969 he formed a group known as 'The Nashville Cats'. The group stayed together for 16 years. Meanwhile Jim played sessions with Johnny Paycheck (ALL his albums), George Jones (2 albums), Johnny Duncan, Charlie Rich (Row With The Flow), last #1 song Drew Flat, Kansas, Lorrie Morgan, John Anderson, Wynn Stewart, Charlie Louvin (Louvin Brothers), Vern Gosdin and Alan Jackson (All songs). Jim has played with countless others as well. He performed with David Houston (Almost Persuaded). Jim made his first (of many) appearance on the 'Grand Old Opry' in 1962. Jim has also written songs for Tammy Wynette and Johnny Paycheck.

Charlie Vaughan - fiddle, mandolin, banjoCharlie has been playing music for 30 years. He has performed on the 'Grand Old Opry'. Charlie has also performed with Johnny Russell, Kitty Wells, Jim Ed Brown, Roy Druskey and many others.

Mark Beckett - drumsMark has been playing drums for approximately 16 years with artists Michael McDonald, JoDee Mesina, Earl Scrubs, Billy Bob Thornton, Bobby G Rice and many more.

Dave Roe - bass guitarDave has played bass guitar for 35 years. Some of the artists he has performed with are Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Johnny Cash (not to mention countless others). Dave is presently playing bass guitar for Dwight Yoakum and recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Dwight Yoakum.
Harley Gordineer. He was invited, at his own expense, to play bass on a couple of songs on Halfway Home. BobbiLynn was kind enough to invite him so he could experience a part of his dream, as he is elderly.

Dorothy Sherritt - harmonica, percussions and backing vocalsDorothy has been playing a mouth harp since she was a very young girl. Her family would often crowd around the house enjoying and playing music. Dorothy plays the harmonica and provides backing vocals for BobbiLynn when she has bookings near her area.

Kathy Lee Jarrell - background singerKathy has sang for 40 years. She began singing when she was 6 years old. Kathy has provided background vocals for Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Vern Gosdin, Conway Twitty, Bobby G Rice and many more. Kathy has received many prizes and awards for her vocal ability.
