Biography
In the late 1970's Beans Sousa was discovered and managed for a short time by Gary Borman of James Taylor, Faith Hill and Keith Urban fame. As a studio musician recorded several albums for Leon Russell's Shelter Records, finding himself among some of the best musicians in the world, with album credits that including guitarist George Harrison of the Beatles, Leon Russell and Tom Scott

In 1980 Beans Sousa put his solo career aside when recruited by renowned country singer Lacy J. Dalton, as a supporting acoustic guitarist. Dalton and Sousa have developed a unique relationship over the years, as you can hear on the track "Reno and Me", a Duet they recorded for Sousa's first Solo Album project. You can also hear Sousa on Dalton's Greatest Hit's Albums.

In 1989 Beans released an album of songs written by his favorite songwriters entitled "You Don't Know Beans" for Shop Records. The title of the album was coined by The Nashville Network's Ralph Emery, and of course received national exposure on Emery's "The Nashville Now" television show.

Sousa Produced the album "Wild Horse Crossing" for Lacy J. Dalton and Friends, on Shop Records. A compilation of original songs, the majority of which were written by Dalton and Sousa.

After completing the production of Dalton's "Wild Horse Crossing", Beans produced and wrote the solo CD effort "INTO THE BLUE" and left the Dalton show to resume his solo ambitions.
