Biography

With a large repertoire of songs, Adla M. Hannon hails from Waterbury, Ct. She had a show recently featuring 22 of her songs-the show was called Grandma’s Top 40. She has many children’s songs and in the very near future hopes to have an illustrated children’s book. Her songs are classic fifties style ballads and choruses with more sincerity than pop. Love songs are her specialty, as she recalls devotion to her husband during the Second World War.

Today Adla is a registered nurse with a degree in public health and education as well as writing music she still teaches certified nursing assistance. She has been teaching since 1989. She has three children and many of her written titles were created for her children; although many tales also come from her days as an army nurse in World War II. She published a novel in February of 2007 called Adventures of a World War Two Army Nurse.
