Biography
Aberrant - In the beginning... In March of 2000 the five members of the Chicago, Illinois -based band Aberrant came together with the purpose of making heavy rock music that still had a very strong pop appeal. As the music took shape they began to draw comparisons to Breaking Benjamin, Godsmack, Staind and fellow Chicagoans, Disturbed. In no time at all, the band found itself playing regularly and eventually headlining at such notable venues as the Double Door, the Note, the Abbey and the Hard Rock Cafe. In true "Aberrant" fashion the band re-located to Dallas, Texas in October of 2004. ************************************************************ Currently... The band is cemented by frontman Greg Scott, a former solo artist known for his ability to provide extremely infectious lyrics. Ray Torre on lead guitar offers the dynamic guitar riffs and searing solos for which the band has become known. Scott Mueller on drums is the anchor of the group providing jaw dropping percussion. Bill,"Bud Driver", Larimore, brings to the band solid, driving bass. Recently added Paul Trevino, (former guitarist of the Ft. Worth based Tripcell), rounds out the guitar section with power and flair. Venues such as the Curtain Club, The Aardvark, Ridglea Theatre and the Hard Rock Cafe have all welcomed the band to their stages. They have also been embraced by local/regional favorites such as Downlo, Moving Atlas, and System Overload. Nationally, the band has shared the stage with Adema and Five Bolt Main. The band is represented by Strong Arm Entertainment and Southern Storm Promotions. Their 2007 release, "Defined", will be available nationwide this summer! ************************************************************
