Biography
Born in Dallas Texas, the son of a Pentecostal Clergyman, and the eighth of thirteen children. Aaron Mason started singing Gospel Music in his father’s church at the age of five years old. Because of his parents evangelistic ministry, the family frequently moved from coast to coast. As a result Aaron’s education spanned from California, to Ohio. At the age of fourteen Aaron made a serious decision to pursue a professional career in the music industry. It was during this period of decision that he began to teach himself to play several instruments. Drums, Bass, Piano ,
Guitar, and the Organ. All of which he has accomplished well enough , to help him become a successful composer/songwriter, singer/producer. In the early nineties Aaron moved back to California from Ohio and began writing and composing for various artist, in all genres of music. He has written for Grammy Award winning artist. With hits to numerous to mention. After establishing himself as songwriter in Los Angeles. Aaron moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he joined Bethel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Rudolf McKissak Jr. Aaron rededicated his life to Christ, and focused exclusively on Gospel Music. It was there that he decided he wanted to become a Gospel Recording Artist. Since entering the world of Gospel Music, Aaron has moved to Nashville, Tennessee. He has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry, and toured with Randy Owens (former lead singer for the award winning country group” Alabama“). He has also appeared on Gospel Music’s Prestigious Stellar Awards the past few years , singing with industry greats, such as Patti Labelle, Vicki Winans, Tamela Mann (of Tyler Perry’s” Meet the Browns” fame), and most recently he sang with Ms. Dionne Warrick in a tribute to President Barrack Obama . Aaron also performed in the “Martin Luther King Celebration Concert” with the Nashville Symphony, featuring American Idol Finalist Melinda Doolittle. Aaron has just released his Gospel Debut Album entitled” All Because of You”. The lyrics on this album are brilliantly put to music and tell of Mason’s compelling journey from the secular world to a new life with the Lord. He also illustrates this beautifully in his video “Stir It Up” soon to appear on Gospel Music Channel “The Lord saved me from the streets! Mason proclaims, and I’ve got to tell the word about it “!
