Biography
JT Nero is the alter-ego of one Jeremy Lindsay, more widely known as the JT in JT and the Clouds, a Chicago-based collective of funk, soul and roots music with two full length CDs of their own: "Delilah" (2003) and "The City's Hot, Yeah, The City's Hot" (2006).

In the words of JT Nero, "The songs on his new EP, 'demons/demons,' would have been hard for JT Lindsay - the swivel hipped frontman of the internationally beloved soul marauders, JT and the Clouds - to sing. Hence, the birth of JT Nero, who feels his own pain, as well as your pain, acutely, acutely, acutely, and grows them into small flowers, like lilacs and irises, and stuffs them in your ears, mouth and nose. It is the least he can do."

In the words of the critics, "A superb crooner and an equally powerful soul singer, Lindsay can belt out a lyric or etch it with the delicacy of Venetian glass, whilst evoking Curtis Mayfield one moment and Sly Stone the next." (allmusic)

Gaining in reputation as a songwriter's songwriter, Lindsay has seen two compositions from "Delilah" be covered by other artists. "Scattered Leaves" was recorded by The Be Good Tanyas on the CD "Hello Love" (Nettwerk Records), and "Til It's Gone" was released by Po' Girl on the CD "Home to You" (Nettwerk Records).

Lindsay is also building up an international fan base, thanks to recent UK and European tours, as both a solo act and with a stripped down version of the Clouds. US venues include The Freight and Salvage, The Ark, The Living Room and Fitzgerald's to name just a few, along with in-studio performances on the likes of KPIG and West Coast Live.

Experience the music of "demons/demons" and enter JT Nero's crazy world of love, madness and small flowers.
