Biography
A captivating country music performer with a tremendous knowlege of music of all kinds.
Just in time for this years Tax Deadline is Danny Griego's song (Taxes). This song describes it all, an uptempo kickin' Radio Song.
Seven songs on this album were written by Danny, two he co-wrote and one was written by Mark Collie. 4 of Danny's songs are in both English and Spanish.
Some of Nashville's best supporting musicians are featured on the album and the Legendary Waylon Jennings sang the title song as a duet with Danny.
Danny was encouraged in his musical ability by his grandfather, who left him a guitar when he passed away. After surviving a lightning strike, Danny really started to write songs.
While honing his musical skills, he did not neglect his backup ... he earned a BS in Business with a dual major in Marketing and Sales.

DANNY GRIEGO, great voice, great guy!

I had the pleasure of appearing with Danny earlier this year in Glendale, AZ. We closed the show with a Marty Robbins duet and spent some time together after the show at a few places around town. Danny can electrify a crowd anytime he picks up a guitar and takes the stage, and I enjoyed listening to him do the songs on this album. His star will burn brightly someday and the sooner, the better.. Go Danny!!

Colorado Belle Casino Resort

I recently visited the Colorado Belle in Laughlin Nevada and had the pleasure to sit with my family and enjoy a fabulous night of country music sung by Danny Griego. I really have a hard time believing this guy is not already singing in front of hundreds of thousands of people. This guy is a star in the making, and I am happy to say that I have had the privilege to see him from the front row and not have to pay a cent! thanks Danny for all tha fun !

We received the following review from Tobias, a swedish DJ: This CD feels fresh and is well produced by Richie Albright. Danny sings everything from swing, rock 'n' roll, ballads to traditional country tunes. He has penned seven of ten tracks and his writing ability is very impressive. Top musicians like Leo Jackson, Robbie Turner, Hoot Hester among others contribute with their musical skill. The legend Waylon "Hoss" Jennings appears in the title track "At the Crossroads". My personal favorite songs are "Guilt Trip", Rusty Old Ford" and "Who am I".

I love the song, "Cantina Joe", and think it should be played on the radio!!! It's a fantastic sound, and the lyrics are great! I picture myself in an old Mexican cantina as I listen and smile. This would be a fun song to dance to, as would many of the songs on the rest of the CD. Can't wait to hear more from Danny!! :-)

I was so glad to finally get my copy of this CD. I have followed Danny's career over the years and am so glad that he is beginning to realize his goals. Danny has a very unique talent and with the love of his family and friends, and the guidance of God, he will realize all of his wishes. I wish for him more success than he can imagine.

I've seen Danny and the Country Thunder Band several times around Arizona and have been waiting for the CD to come out. I think it is just great! I love "Eres Tu"!

I think "Cantina Joe" should carry the CD. Great song.

Until I heard Danny Griego's "At the Crossroads", I would have not considered myself a country western fan. However, Danny has convinced me that I have overlooked an enjoyable segment of the music industry....golden oldies on my car radio have had to make room for Danny's CD. It is hard to pick between "Rusty Old Ford", "Below the Border", "It's You", and "Who am I" as my favorite....then again, there's "Guilt Trip", "Chasing My Tail", and "Cantina Joe"! Danny is at his best when he is singing ballads and I can hear the hurt when he sings "Who Am I". I especially like his lyrical integration of English and Spanish. His CD makes driving the Phoenix freeways a little easier....my sole regret is that there is only one Danny Griego CD to listen to! So, Danny, when can this country western convert look forward to expanding my CD library? Don't make us wait too long, I may wear out my copy of "At the Crossroads" soon. (P.S. If you can catch Danny in concert, you are in for a real treat....I know I enjoyed listening to Danny at an open air, late 1999 spring concert. Danny's show is for the whole family!) I am a HUGE fan of country music and I was told about Danny Griego from a friend. I really loved "It's You" and "At the Crossroads." Considering the trend country music is following these days, I think some more country/rock combo songs would be a great addition to this album.

This is a very refreshing country sound. Also, I can hear the connection to traditional country music as well. This is a very good CD. I like the fact that this is a local Arizona talent in the country music industry. Hope to hear more new refreshing country songs from him.
