KEN IRWIN RELEASES HIS NEXT 10 CLASSIC ROUNDER RECORDS CATALOGUE TITLES TO GLOBAL RADIO

AirPlay Direct’s “Iconic Innovator” 2017, Ken Irwin is now releasing his fourth collection of classic Rounder Records catalogue titles to global radio exclusively via AirPlay Direct.

“I continue to enjoy sharing so much of the music that I love through AirPlay Direct, bringing music from our past and present to new listeners,” says Ken Irwin, Co-founder – Rounder Records.  “This month, as before, I’ve tried to do a wide variety going from old-time brother duet The Blue Sky Boys who first recorded in 1936 to a more contemporary duet project by Kate Brislin and Katy Moffatt.  Also included this month are the Tex-Mex sounds of Astrid Hadad, the rockabilly of Sleepy LaBeef, the soul of Ted Hawkins, the country music of Willie Nelson, the blues of Johnny Copeland, the Cajun sounds of Charivari and the bluegrass of The Dreadful Snakes as well as the first original tune by I’m With Her to give you a taste for their upcoming release.  Kate and Katy only played a couple of dates together while Willie Nelson has been touring for decades.”
