Smyrna, GA (March 3, 2009) AirPlay Direct, a leading provider of secure digital delivery of music and electronic press kits to music industry professionals around the world, is pleased to announce the addition of a new Advisory Board member, Mr. Bernard Baur.

Bernard Baur is an artist crusader, award-winning journalist, and a creative consultant. For many artists he’s been the connection between the streets and the suites, with almost thirty signings to record labels and publishing companies over the past ten years. He’s credited with over 1,200 articles in local and national publications, and can be read on a variety of entertainment websites. With over twenty-five years in music, media and business affairs, Bernard has worked with superstars and not-yet-stars, as well as record labels and entertainment companies, including Warner Bros. where he handled marketing for all WB products, from music and television to animation and films. A former A&R executive, he’s currently a Contributing Editor, A&R Reporter and Features Writer for Music Connection Magazine; and the Director of Marketing & Media for The Composers Corner, as well as several independent record labels. Named one of the “Top Music Business Journalists” in the country by the National Association of Record Industry Professionals, Bernard is also an instructor for the Music Business Program at the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA.

Bernard joins the existing five-member Advisory Board that will aid the executive management team in continuing the momentum established this past year. The highly accomplished group of music industry and business veterans, each an authority in his or her field, together cover the spectrum of disciplines essential to the continued growth of AirPlay Direct.

Scott Welch

Scott Welch, is the President of Scott Welch Management, Inc. based in Nashville. Scott has managed the careers and development of multi-platinum recording artists Alanis Morissette, LeAnn Rimes, Steve Perry, Paula Abdul, Collective Soul, C&C Music Factory, and others that have sold a combined total of over 100 million albums worldwide. Under Scott’s direction, Alanis Morrisette¹s debut album Jagged Little Pill was the largest selling debut album in history, with worldwide sales in excess of 34 million records and the winner of seven GRAMMY awards plus numerous critic and sales awards globally. Scott also helped launch MP3.com, Stubhub and is a partner in Highnote, an entertainment online ads network. He currently manages Country/GAC star Mark Wills, Johnny Cooper, The Bart Crow Band, Allison Kaplan and is the Executive Producer of the Conway Twitty musical.

Pete Anderson

Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning Producer/Guitarist Pete Anderson is most widely known as the musical partner to Dwight Yoakam, whose records he produced/arranged/and played on from 1986-2003 resulting in sales of 25 Million and counting.  Pete is also well known as a pioneer in the roots-rock genre and was an early champion of the Americana movement, where he had a hand in introducing the world to artists such as Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, Michelle Shocked, Rosie Flores, and, more recently, Adam Hood. He is also a renowned bandleader who has appeared on Saturday Night Live, David Letterman, and The Tonight Show (19 times since 1986) and has played over 3,000 live shows in upwards of 15 countries around the world.

Brent Harvey

For over three decades, Mr. Harvey has garnered a solid reputation in entertainment business. He is founder/owner of KBH Entertainment Group, and has expertise that includes live event production, personal management, music licensing, television production, talent booking, artist development, publicity and project management. His vast list of clients include The Temecula Int’l Film & Music Festival, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, B inTune TV, Currency Motor Cars, Ecstasky Air Charter Jets and a plethora of music artists. Mr. Harvey is Executive Producer of the Hollywood Music Awards. He is also a Producer “Where Music Meets Film: Live From The Sundance Film Festival.

Darin Rowell

Mr. Rowell is the founder and Principal of Syntion. For almost 20 years, he has worked with organizations and their leaders to successfully navigate difficult transitions. He has served in both Management Consulting and Executive Management roles for public and privately-held companies throughout North and South America. Among these organizations are Ernst & Young, Shell Chemical, Adenus Group, Cemex, Hewitt Associates, Temple-Inland, AlterBrain, Lockheed Martin, and JC Penny.

Mike Hagler

Mr. Hagler is currently Vice President of New Media for Dolly Parton Management as well as a consultant to Cracker Barrel heading up the creation of their online music store. Prior to joining the Dolly Parton team, Mr. Hagler was the Director of New Media for Webster & Associates PR. Mr. Hagler¹s experience in the music industry began as an intern in marketing at Sony/BMG Nashville and Capitol Records Los Angeles. He holds a degree in music business from Belmont University.
