Chill to this relaxed groove with a retro summer vibe. Swimming pools, iced drinks and blue vistas. A great track to put you in vacation mood.

An ambient ballad creating a gentle, lyrical mood with chilled vocals and the coolest of sax riffs.

Great feel provided by enigmatic lyrics set to a cool rhythmic beat - one to soothe and smooth away the edges of the day.

Chill meets funk in this light ambient feel good track.

Biography
Based in the Isle of Wight, UK, Ken & Claire have been performing as 'The Cool Connection' since 2006, playing their classy style of jazz and blues as a duo, trio or four piece with guest musicians. Together they have also written and promoted many original songs, across a range of genres, with some commercial success.

Cool Connection have produced over 16 albums which include covers and original material. Various songs and albums are available from digital stores - Amazon, iTunes, etc.

Cool Grooves
This album delivers a powerful, ambient vibe with an over-arching chill-out feel that makes for a distinctive and relaxed listen. Each track follows an individual narrative, taking us on a journey from summer pool sides and sultry nights beside the ocean, to atmospheric dreamscapes and imaginary galleries, fuelled by fantasy, desire and heightened emotion.

The first six tracks are accompanied by the smooth tones of saxophonist Ian Thomson overlaid across the subtle and classy keys of Ken Lowe. The mood is mellow, the tone celebratory. Claire’s distinctive and unifying vocals dip and soar providing the dynamic bridge between moods.

The final two tracks employ seductive lyrics and a pulsing irresistible beat, both having been inspired by iconic artist Amanda Lear, (who has recorded and released two of our earlier songs).
