Biography
Raised in the hidden hills of Southwestern ON, Canada, the Blurry Pickers are known for their infectious melodies, strong vocals, tight harmonies and lightning-fast picking. Their dynamic that will pull you in, their songs will keep you there.
The Blurry Pickers are hot off the heels of their second album "Diary of a Grassman" which is getting excellent reviews and international airplay. Mike Kirley, editor of Bluegrass Canada Magazine, says, "Great stuff!"
David Gans, co-host of 'Tales from the Golden Road' on SiriusXM's the Grateful Dead Channel said of their first release, “It’s just got such a sweet groove and a lovely relaxed vibe. The whole record just charmed the pants off me.”
Somewhere between where Jerry Garcia meets Bill Monroe, the Blurry Pickers have developed a sound that crosses borders but rests nowhere. Using traditional bluegrass instruments and inspired by many of the old-timey sounds of days gone by, the band draws from their collective time in music and an eclectic array of influences to help form their sound.
