Biography
From the mountains of Southeastern Kentucky, Sunrise Ridge is a rising, hard-driving bluegrass band with a classic sound. With some inspiring, young talent, they put on a show that guarantees a well-pleased and inspired crowd. They're no strangers to the music scene of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia, and they have made appearances at places such as the Carter Family Fold and Dollywood. Each of them sing and play their instruments to an exceptional level. From the extraordinary banjo player (Jack Adams) that can play virtually any style of banjo, who also learned his trade from the legendary Lee Sexton and also makes appearances with Larry Efaw & The Bluegrass Mountaineers, to an amazing fiddle player (Natalie Tomlinson) who graduated from the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music and Lincoln Memorial University's School of Business, and plays a variety of two-steppers along with some smoking-bow fiddle tunes; a powerful, strong bass player (Whitney (Stamper) Cornett) that can also belt out some amazing, beautiful harmony and lead vocals who happens to be the lead singer and guitar player’s oldest daughter, (who is also enrolled in medical school at Lincoln Memorial University); *a former member, Taylyn (Combs) Kincer, added a variety of songs and powerful lead vocals and last but not least, the lead singer and guitarist (Shawn Stamper) who leads the band with his driving rhythm playing, solos, powerful lead vocals and he makes sure that every show goes out with a bang.

Sunrise Ridge is a talented, heart-felt, hard-driving bluegrass band that is sure to make bluegrass folks from all around want to kick up dust and dance a jig.
