Biography
“Everything you hear on major radio these days sound the same, its like they all use the same studio band”, says Jeremy Graham frontman of Sour Diesel Trainwreck. “I want to write and record songs from my soul that feel real and dont leave a plastic taste in your mouth."
Sour Diesel Trainwreck is a 4 piece high energy Americana/Southern Rock/Alt Country band from Mesa, AZ. The style is lyrical and vocal driven, organic and acoustic and at times dark and aggressive with a sound that is a little Country a little Rock and a lot of soul.
Sour Diesel Trainwreck has shared the stage with International artists like Shooter Jennings and Reckless Kelly as well as entertaining fans at rodeos, dance halls, corporate events and biker rallies.
Sour Diesel Trainwreck Is releasing their first CD July 6, 2012 “Bitter Cold Black” is a 9 song record with everything from ballads to driving southern rock to a Texas Waltz. The Songs are powerful and well crafted with influences that range from heavy metal to red dirt country while still maintaining a organic sound.
Oklahoma born and raised, Jeremy (Spock) Graham comes from a Metal background..He moved to Phoenix in 2005 and crossed over musically to the Red Dirt/ Southern Rock/Americana scene. He began writing and performing acoustically around town while asssembling a band of close friends and dedicated musicians." I love what we are doing..and am feeding off the stylistic diversity and creativity in the band.. This is what i live for right now period "

New York native Mike Hatta spent many years as a blues/rock guitarist influenced by such greats as the three Kings, Billy Gibbons and Gordie Johnson. After playing a gig on bass with Sour Diesel Trainwreck since he was familiar with their originals and red dirt covers, he and the band decided to make it a full time position. "I had played a bunch of acoustic gigs with Jeremy and felt like this was something I wanted to be a part of, now I am just focusing on being the best bass player I can be."

Duane Woods was born in Oklahoma and is the third generation of Woods family to play music professionally. Duane was in his first working band at 18 and at 20 moved to Phoenix where he played lead guitar for his Father and Uncle in a local country band, at the same time playing lead guitar in his heavy metal band. “Most of my earliest memories were of my family playing country music, at the same time I have always been moved by metal style music and Sour Diesel Trainwreck is a blend of my two greatest musical influences”

Adam Rodriguez.... After considering the talent level around me "tolerable", and with the promise of being paid in car wash tokens, I finally agreed to lend my services to this outfit. I also agreed to play drums for them as well. Without knowing what to expect and finding it uncomfortable, difficult, and unrewarding at first; I learned to cope with the other members short comings, and have managed to extract some enjoyment from this experience so far. If anyone knows of a "tech death prog jazz" band looking for a beginning drummer give me a call at 524-1541.
