Biography
The release of Albuquerque Sky proves up-and-coming country music powerhouse, Sarah Peacock, is a contender in several Nashville music arenas. A talented songwriter, she wrote or co-wrote all sixteen tracks on the recording, which smoothly melds pop country and Americana with a dash of rock, a la Ann Wilson.
As a multi-instrumentalist, she’s just as comfortable grabbing the reins from any member of her band at any time, a feat that has been known to happen occasionally during a live show. The first impression, however, centers around her distinctive, powerful “smoky” voice, as it was aptly described by renowned music journalist, Craig Havighurst, following a performance at the famed Music City Roots show.

Sarah’s sound has garnered fans in both the general listening population and the media alike, as she has performed on several news shows and been featured in several magazines and newspapers. Most notably, she wrote and performed a song, Hurricane, on the CBS Morning Show, "The Couch", in NYC on Nov 13, 2012. Having experienced Hurricane Sandy on her northeast tour in November 2012, Sarah wrote it as a tribute to the victims, and all iTunes sales are benefitting the Sandy relief effort. During Hurricane Sandy aftermath, Peacock also performed a benefit, raising nearly $1,000 for Bon Jovi's Soul Kitchen.

Sarah Peacock displays an effortless, seasoned professionalism rarely heard in the mainstream music world, in part due to her extensive touring history. Just last year, she performed over 250 dates! The other part can only be credited to an innate, instinctive gift, which she has grown and cultivated from the young age of eleven. Throughout her teenage years, she continued to hone her wide-ranging skills, and she received a degree in commercial music from the esteemed Belmont University. It’s been full steam ahead ever since, with no signs of slowing down!
