RBR Entertainment is pleased to announce the release of new singles for Chris Davis and Tommy Buller.

“It’s Worth a Shot” - The new single from Chris Davis

“I wanted to record 'It's Worth A Shot' because the melody sang to me right along with the lyrics," said Chris Davis. "It speaks of a man willing to try anything to forget about lost love. Can’t blame him".

"Chris is such a smooth singer. Regardless of the song, he brings the emotion of the song to the forefront," says Chris Myers, RBR Entertainment - COO. "I believe Chris has a long career in front of him and all of us at RBR Entertainment are proud to have Chris in the family!"

Chris Davis is originally from Fairborn, Ohio and now makes his home in Russell, Kentucky.  He has been playing bluegrass music, professionally, for over 25 years with many artists such as Larry Sparks, Alecia Nugent, Junior Sisk, Larry Cordle, The Grascals and currently with Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers. He has also played the Grand Ole Opry with country music's Diamond Rio while member Gene Johnson had recovered from heath issues.

New single from Tommy Buller - “Headed for the Hills”

"I liked that Bart and I had come up with a good, fast, grassy tune. It’s a fun tune to pick, leaves room for everyone in the band to pick on it, and it’s really easy to improvise on. Usually turns into a big jam session when we play it live," said Tommy Buller.

When asked where was the song written, Tommy’s reply, "Ha!!! Bart and I finished it in line at the Davidson county DMV. I had met him at his place earlier that day, we had the 1st verse and chorus done and he said he had

to go renew his tags, so I just hopped in with him we finished it via text in line at the DMV."

Chris Myers, RBR Entertainment says, “Tommy and Bart really have a knack for writing songs that get your feet moving … even if you’re sitting down. This song has it all; great singing, great harmonies, great picking.” Buller has won three Album of the Year Awards with the National Country Music Association, as well as the Merlefest Songwriting Competition in 2018. He’s charted four Top 10 songs on the Bluegrass Today Singles Chart and played with Gary P. Nunn, Vince Gill, The Time Jumpers, Lorrie Morgan, and even sang with his childhood hero, Randy Travis.

Unwavering in his lifelong loyalty to bluegrass and country music, Tommy Buller has never second-guessed his life’s path. Even as accolades grow, it is evident that the miles traveled and hours spent may likely outnumber the dollars made. But, it’s not for fame or fortune that Buller pours his heart into his music, but for the sake of those among us who long for the simpler sounds of tradition that just feel like home.
