"This month, as Earwig Music continues celebrating its 43 years of releasing new recordings and self-produced recordings from older artists, Earwig is promoting another diverse set of artists and albums, looking back and looking forward, 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue'.
While preparing January ads for Earwig Music's monthly delivery to global radio, I was reminded of how many great opportunities AirPlay Direct has created for me and my label over the years.
AirPlay Direct is the perfect audio platform to deliver another trip back down the Earwig catalog Memory Lane, as well as, to present an introduction to Earwig's first batch of our 2023 distributed releases - Barbara Blue's 'From The Shoals', and Payson Lyon's 'Long Days Journey Into Light'.
Barbara and Payson are new to the Earwig Music family, but like every Earwig artist, they have been making music for over 40 years. Their new albums feature fresh songs, exciting new recordings of blues, folk, soul,
R&B and Americana. We combined these new releases with Earwig catalog titles by Honeyboy Edwards, Big Jack Johnson and others.
