Americana singer/songwriter, David Starr, releases new single "Some Angels Fly," the latest single from his forthcoming EP "Better Me". The introspective song features Starr's signature storytelling lyrics and organic production, with rich acoustics, piano, and fiddle. Starr’s Arkansas roots show through in the lyrics, with a nod to kudzu and changing of seasons from summer to fall.
"I think this song complements autumn, it's a time to look inward and perhaps take a moment to think back on some of the people that have come in and out of your life," says David Starr. "Sometimes people are a mystery and will stay that way forever, this one is for anyone who has lost someone and has unanswered questions."

David Starr will be releasing one single a month leading up to the full album of the "Better Me" EP. After his "Touchstones" project, that featured some of Starr’s favorite covers, it is a welcome project featuring 6 energetic originals, including the title track "Better Me" and "Closer To You".
Recorded in Nashville, TN at Addiction Studios, "Better Me" was produced by Starr and Mark Prentice and features John Prentice and Dan Dugmore on electric guitar, Matt Bubel on drums, Mark Prentice on bass and keyboards, Michelle Prentice on background vocals, and Starr on acoustic guitar.
