"November is a time to be thankful, for sure, but it’s also a time to get ready for Christmas. In order to prepare for the season, we are taking the month of November to highlight a wide variety of holiday favorites from CMH Label Group. The biggest news is we have a brand-new 3 song EP featuring Rockabye Baby versions of Yuletide hits “All I Want For Christmas is You,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Last Christmas.” Speaking of unique renditions of Christmas classics, it doesn’t get more unorthodox than a Kazoo Christmas, except for maybe a Surfin’ Christmas. And what would a CMH Christmas be without Pickin’ On Christmas, a collection of holiday hits done in our one-of-a-kind bluegrass style.

Next up, we’ll be looking at some regional tributes to the sounds of seasonal merriment.Stars & Snow is an album full of Texas Country covers of both modern and traditional Christmas classics. Then, it’s time for a Feliz Navidad, as the Red Hot Jalapenos take you on a trip to a Christmas South of the Border. On the final leg of our international Xmas trek, we’ll be

traveling across the pond to Ireland for a Celtic Christmas collection of festive tunes.

Wrapping things up, we have three releases that prove we have novel Noels for everyone this year, especially when it comes to soundtracking a shindig. The VSQ Christmas Album collects string quartet instrumentals covering the best the season has to offer. The Holiday Party presents a whole different take on the instrumental Christmas record, this one a little more mid-20^th century lounge in its design. Winding it all down is a single by CMH country and bluegrass artist Jim Silvers (who co-wrote this year’s IBMA Song Of The Year winner). “Wait ‘til Next Year” is a mid-tempo honky-tonk number about drinking away the holiday, while B-side “Streets of Christmas” is a melancholy country ditty of fond remembrances of childhood holidays."
