Clamp's Chute

This instrumental is a tribute to legendary fiddler, Vassar Clements, written in 2005. The name draws its inspiration from a story about Vassar, aka ‘Clamp”, and a malfunctioning parachute.

Recording tidbit: This is a super live track that we threw down with almost no editing. Billy played his Gilchrist, as it is the same mandolin with which he shared the stage with Vassar.
