Roadie's Circles
This instrumental tune was written by Trevor and is a tribute to his late border collie Roadie. He wrote it on the guitar before learning how to play it on the banjo. Billy remembers his wife, and Trevor, saying they could hear Rowan on this tune. One day, during quarantine, Billy decided to reach out to Peter, who was able to record his part of the tune from his own home. Peter, without prompting, acknowledged the ‘southwestern’ quality of the tune, so it seemed meant to be.

Recording tidbit - Tony listened to a bunch of Willie Nelson guitar solos for inspiration on this tune. Billy plays mandola on this song
