Pigs
Tony Kamel: “This tune was originally inspired by my deep disdain for reality TV shows. It expanded as a social commentary on money and how we as a people consume, and are constantly manipulated by the constant flow of information (and misinformation) coming our way via the phone or television - and how its actors (from so called evangelical religious leaders, to media personalities) use its modern power to take advantage of people for profit. Silas Lowe, a former Austinite and now Nashville based songwriter, helped me with the bridge while we were working on another tune together.”

Recording tidbit - this was our first take of this tune in the studio that day. Billy Plays mandola on here - through a Big Muff fuzz pedal, Trevor’s banjo sound crunches through the old Fender Twin.
