Recording tidbit - Trevor tuned the banjo down to “Low E” tuning - a classic John Hartford sound. This song was originally a fingerpicking DADGAD tune on guitar which we tried with a million different feels and when we almost gave up, we tried to play it with a bluegrass feel, and lo and behold! It’s a bluegrass song!
