After seeing an incredible set from Willie Nelson, Tony wrote this traveling song which is motored by a heavy country/funk back-beat feel. When Tony called him at work, his dad would say “ I’m just trying to make a living” and that’s where the hook came from.

We opened for Willie Nelson that night on his ranch in Luck, TX for a benefit dinner and show. He played non-stop for 90 minutes and tore the place down.
