Doug Hamilton - Can't Concentrate
Doug Hamilton had a passion for music at the early age of 10. He got his first guitar at 11 and spent many hours getting together with his school friends, learning from them, how to play his guitar.

He remembers very clearly, how nervous he was the first time he and his friends were asked to perform at his public school on Canada Day. He was only 12 years old at the time. There were over 2,000 spectators, and Doug said, "we only knew 3 songs, and we were glad when it was over." Yet it opened the doors to what lay ahead for him.

Doug has come a long way in a very short time with over 50 music awards and hits in over 20 countries. He credits his success to the fact that every song he has written and performed, has come from his heart.

In the late 80's, Doug returned to his music....writing, performing and singing.

In 1990 he performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN.

In 1992 he was asked to perform at Opryland Hotel, Nashville, TN

In 2003 Doug was 29th most played country artist, worldwide.

In 2006 he performed at Harrah's, Las Vegas, CA

Doug is a multi-talented, Independent Country Music Artist. He has written over 35 songs, some reaching the top 100 on the music charts in the USA and Europe.

In early 2006 he considered giving up his music. As he said, "Sometimes you just run out of words." A short time later he teamed up with his present co-writer who has been a great influence.......encouraging him to keep up his passion for music.

Doug completed a video, produced by Fred Peterson, KINCK Sound for his present release, "Now and Forever." He will be doing another video for his next single, to be released in 2011.

Doug feels privileged to be working with top-notch promoters:
Bill Wence - Bill Wence Promotions, TN ~ Gary Bradshaw - Western Heart Promotions, Arizona ~ Terry Gause - Midland Records, Florida

He credits his Producer/Engineer, Albert MacDonald, E.D.I. Productions, Canada, for helping him to create a legacy of great compositions.

Doug wishes to "Thank all my fans, radio DJs, and program directors worldwide for their loyal support. Without you, my music world would not exist."
