Prospecting Tonality (Short Version)

This is the song that has launched When Mountains Speak from a hidden solo project with Steven Clarkson at the helm, to a recognized force is today's musical catalogue. This song is a small segment of the soundtrack for the short film Steven worked on called "In the Beginning". It is from an early session with Jim Gary. Obvious from the start, Jim and Steven's chemistry has led this film to be an official selection of the "Nature Without Borders International Film Festival". It features Jim on bass guitar and Steven on electric guitar. We hired a session drummer to add a driving drum track. "Prospecting Tonality" comes from the experimentation that encompasses all of WMS's body of work. By pushing tonality to the edge, one in fact is digging for a different experience for the listeners and musicians.
