Wish I Would've Fished More
Writers: Greg Crowe, Julia Carlson, Dave Carlson

Vs1)
Folding chair and a shade tree
After church on a sunday
We'd pack a lunch and a tackle box
with a couple of Mountain dews
sometimes they wouldn't bite
he'd sit right there and smoke His pipe
I'd listen to His stories all afternoon
Everytime I think of Him or skip a rock across a creek
Or stick a cricket on a hook it makes Me stop & think

Ch)
I wish I would've fished more
Took a little more time for
Tossing a line in the water
waiting for the cork to sink
Summer's never last forever
And life's too short
I wish I would've fished more

Vs2)
Pit stop at the country store
cowbell on the front door
Checker table wooden floor
Bait in a coffee can
Some things never change
And I thank God for that
A dirt road and a cane pole
Always takes Me back

Repeat Ch

Some We'd catch some We'd keep
Some We'd just let go
And The ones that got away He'd say
Some are hard to hold

Repeat Ch
