Whether on archaeological digs or translating medieval poetry, the past has always been a north star for banjo player, songwriter, and author Max Wareham. After two years of touring nationally with Peter Rowan and being featured on the Grammy-nominated album Calling You From My Mountain, Max recorded his debut album, Dagommit! Max co-wrote the advance single "Hard Times Are Far Behind" with Rowan. In keeping with the theme of the album, the narrator is far away from home, on a quest spurred on by heartbreak, trying to find a way back home.
