Another song inspired by the run-up to the 2016 election. Again, I wanted to express a message of unity in just a few words for a website I was working on with some other people. I came up with; "One Boat - No Shore." It kinda says it all. It was destined to become a song on this album. Interestingly the line shows up in another song; "Better Angels Prayer."

Well, we are indeed in one boat and indeed there is no shore, so we do need to do what we can to protect this delicate democracy.
