Traditionally Wound Bluegrass from Ontario Canada
Traditionally Wound Bluegrass Band is an Award Winning Band from Ontario Canada, this is their second release since forming in 2007 and this is the first release for this current makeup of players. The album consists of 10 band originals of which 9 of the songs were written by Nick Mcdonald or John Mcdonald or a combination of the two while Dave Jack the new banjo player contributed his instrumental called Wound.
This band has consistently been nominated in almost every category each year at the Central Canadian Bluegrass Awards and has continued to win multiple awards each year.
With three strong lead singers creating family harmony from Justin Mcdonald, Nick Mcdonald & John Mcdonald the vocals blend together with the strong instrumentation to create a great Canadian Bluegrass Sound.
With the exception of Justin who is Nick's son the players are all long time seasoned veterans of the Central Canadian Bluegrass Scene and have played in many different bands over the years.
This current lineup of the band in particular has jelled quickly and offers great music while putting on a complete show, with some comedy mixed in.
We are especially proud of this latest release, it showcases the strong writing talents of the Nick & John along with the bands arrangement skills to produce a great album of good tunes.
Good Bluegrass .............Pick it Up !
