You were standing right in front of me

Couldn’t see you for the burning trees

Roaring like thunder

In the last place I looked

Couldn’t tell if I was holding on

To the thing that keeps me going on

When the day goes black

There were faces staring back at me

Giving me the third degree

With no closure

A tongue-twisting roar and shout
