Angry times call for moody music, Schizophrenic rhythms and melodic vocals stand strong. farewell to the old, new is the way and Torment The Vein is here to stay.

Dark, Heavy, Riffy, Groovy, melodic. All of which has been used to describe the music of Torment The Vein, Who seem to splice together the frayed ends of alternative rock and heavy metal. Some would say that Torment The Vein is a condescending twist of powerhouse bands like Staind, Breaking Benjamin and Flaw. Add a few original ideas and a dark shadow and you might just be close. Formed in 2004 by AJ Cole (Vocals), Brad Baker (Guitars), Chris Nalle (Guitars), Josh Sherman (Bass) and Fred Akasha(Drums) Torment The Vein has quickly become a favorite in the Rochester/Syracuse NY communities while spreading their music throughout the east coast. nothing is lost in translation for these five guys who all have one goal in mind, To make catchy music that fans can identify with!

The music that flows from Torment The Vein has a tendency to make you want to dance, jump and mosh all at the same time. Their unbelievable live shows only enhance the mood of the room whether you want it to or not. After a two year testing session with their songs Torment The Vein has finished their debut album "Faded Life" which was released on August 4th 2007.
